MY STORY

The first time I realized that I had a love for baking was as a young girl.  Like many little girls, this love was sparked when I asked for and received my very own Easybake Oven TM.  I used it every day and I experimented with mixing all of the little packaged formulas.  I also enjoyed watching my mother bake during the holidays and was ready and willing to help her make the coveted family recipes.

My passion for baking & pastry arts was reawakened when I enrolled in a baking course while attending high school.  I had one of the best teachers who reminded me of Julia Childs in the way that she carried herself and her passion for food.  She recognized a natural talent and ability in me before I could see it, and she encouraged and inspired me to learn more.  I discovered that baking was about more than just an act or the taste of your products.  It was also about creating art, emotions, and lasting memories.

Over the years, I have enjoyed baking for my friends and family, and ten years ago I began selling my products in a home based business.  I have experienced success and satisfied customers, and this has inspired me to grow further.  It has always been a dream of mine to have a storefront bakery café and serve the public with my culinary creations.  This dream led me to attending and graduating from The Culinary Institute of America's AOS Baking & Pastry Arts Program.  My experience allowed me to expand my fundamental knowledge and abilities in the area of baking & pastry arts.

I am supported in my endeavors by my husband of 15 years and my three beautiful boys.  It is because of their love and encouragement that I continue to pursue my dreams.
